Two U.S. made cable channel documentaries presented by ‘Shane O’ have adopted music from Australian Sun Record’s upcoming ‘Didgedance’ album by David Hudson as an integral part of the soundtrack. ‘Didgedance will be released through ASR in 2008.
David Hudson will perform in Portland Oregon mid-year at the annual Allegro Label Conference.
He will also perform at the Music Millenium show in Portland on July 28. Early August 2007 will see David Hudson perform a showcase gig in Maui, Hawaii. Negotiations are currently underway for the Queensland National Ballet (Aust.) to choreograph and perform a show based around tracks from the ‘Primal Elegance One’ album by David Hudson and Mark Mannock.
The Cairns Post (main newspaper in ASR’s hometown of Cairns, Aust. has published a substantial article on the establishment of Australian Sun Records and it’s directors. Further Australian publications are carrying ASR based articles including news on the plans for a new ASR studio based in Melbourne.
